April Fool

April Fool

Sure, I’ll play
the fool for you,
with delight.
Wear pink ribbons
in my hair,
wrap ‘em up
real tight.

I’ll wear a shirt
cut low; a skirt
cut high—
matching underwear
(if I thought
it would catch your
eye).

Those red heels
I know
you like,
bright red lips
to kiss
at night;

Sure, I’ll play
the game with
you—
for a fool,
I will always
be.

Beatiful poem; it has such a cadence!econd and third stanzas are a delight! It is witty also and feminine.
